This Privacy Policy explains how Tech Send Dispatch handles information when you use our dispatch and field-service platform, including the web app, the customer-facing booking and AI assistant, and any related tools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information
When you sign up we collect your name, business name, username, email address, and the password you choose, which is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form. If you add team members, we store the same basic details for each of them.
Business data you enter
The platform stores the operational data you put into it, such as jobs, customer names and addresses, phone numbers, technician details, company sources, inventory, notes, and reports. This data belongs to you; we store and process it so the service can work.
Payment information
If you provide a card for a paid plan, we retain only the card brand and the last four digits for display and reference. We do not store your full card number or security code.
Technical information
Like most online services, we may record basic technical details needed to operate and secure the platform, such as log data and the device or browser used to sign in.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide and maintain the service, to store and display the business data you enter, to send the emails and messages you trigger (such as verification, password resets, and reports), to provide support, to keep accounts secure, and to improve how the platform works.
How information is shared
We do not sell your information. We share it only in these situations: with service providers that help us run the platform, such as hosting, email delivery, and messaging; with integrations you choose to connect yourself, such as a messaging provider or an automation tool, which receive only the data needed for the action you set up; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Data about your own customers
Much of what you enter is information about your customers and technicians. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store that information and for using it lawfully, including obtaining any consent required before contacting people by phone or text. We process that data on your behalf so you can run your business.
Cookies and local storage
We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not allow advertisers to target you inside the platform.
Data retention
We keep your account and data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, the data associated with it is removed from the live system, except where we are required to keep certain records to meet legal obligations.
Security
We protect your information with measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and private API keys that you can rotate at any time. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can view and update most of your information directly in the app, export your records, change your password, rotate your API key, or delete your account at any time. If you need help exercising any of these choices, contact us at the address below.
Children
The platform is built for businesses and is not directed to anyone under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
International use
Your information may be stored and processed on servers located in the regions where our hosting and service providers operate. By using the platform you understand that your data may be handled in those locations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves. When we do, the updated version replaces the previous one, and your continued use of the service means you accept the current policy.
