Getting started
How do I sign up?
Click start your free trial, then enter your name, a username, your company name, your email, and a password. Choose a plan (Free, Lite, Pro, or Gold). Paid plans start on a 30-day free trial; Free is free forever. You can change almost everything later.
Do I have to verify my email?
Yes. When you sign up we email you a verification link, just open the email and click it to confirm your address. This also makes sure password resets and notifications can reach you.
How do I log in after signing up?
Open your app address (for example your dashboard link), then enter your username and password on the sign-in screen. The server address is already filled in for you, so most of the time you only type your username and password.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
On the sign-in screen click "Forgot password". Enter your email and we send you a reset link. Open it, choose a new password, and sign in again.
What do I get during the free trial?
Full access to everything on the plan you picked for 30 days. You can see and manage your trial and plan any time from the avatar menu in the top right, under Billing.
What is the very first thing I should set up?
In order: add your technicians, then their service areas, then your company sources and job types. Once those are in, you are ready to take and dispatch your first job. Each step is covered below.
Plans and billing
What is the difference between the plans?
There are four plans. Free is for solo operators: 1 user, up to 2 technicians and 80 jobs per month. Lite ($129/mo) adds unlimited technicians, company sources and jobs, plus estimates and invoices (1 user, no inventory or AI). Pro ($299/mo) adds unlimited users and inventory (no AI Agent). Gold ($399/mo) opens everything: unlimited users plus the AI Agent that answers calls and books jobs. Compare them on the pricing page.
How do I change my plan?
Open the avatar menu in the top right and choose Billing, then pick Free, Lite, Pro, or Gold. You can move up or down anytime from the same page.
What are the AI agent setup packages?
On the Gold plan you can add an optional, one-time done-for-you AI setup for $500: our team sets up the agent to answer your calls and book the job. It is optional - you can set the agent up yourself for free.
Where do I see my plan, trial, and invoices?
Avatar menu in the top right, then Billing. That page shows your current plan, when your trial ends, your payment method on file, and your invoices.
Technicians and coverage areas
How do I add a technician?
Go to the Technicians tab and add the technician with a name (and a color so they are easy to spot on the board). You can add as many as you need.
How do service areas work?
For each technician you add the ZIP codes and a radius they cover. The app maps that coverage so it knows who works where.
What is "nearest technician" dispatch?
When you type a job address, the board ranks your technicians by real driving distance, so you can assign the closest available one instead of guessing. This is what keeps drive time down.
Company sources and money
What is a Company Source?
A company source is where a job comes from, for example a partner company or platform that sends you work. You add your sources under the Company Source tab and tag each job with the source that sent it.
How do profit splits work?
For each job you set how the money is divided between you, the technician, and the source. When a job is closed, the app calculates each share automatically so you always know your cut.
Where do I see how much I am earning?
The Reports tab shows your overall numbers, and Source Reports breaks earnings down by the company source that sent the work.
Taking and dispatching jobs
How do I create a new job?
Click + New Job. Enter the customer address, pick the job type and the company source, and assign a technician. The nearest technicians are suggested for you based on the address.
How does the address box work?
Start typing the address and pick one of the Google suggestions. A pin drops on the map and the technicians are ranked by distance so you can assign the closest one.
What do the job statuses mean?
Jobs move through a pipeline: In progress, Appointment, Pending, Closed, and Cancelled. You move a job to the next stage as the work progresses, and each stage has its own tab.
How does the technician get the job details?
If texting is set up, the app can text the assigned technician the job address and details, and their replies come back into the job chat. You can also see everything on the board.
Texting and email
How do I set up texting (SMS) to my technicians?
Open the avatar menu and choose SMS settings, then connect your texting through Twilio or a Make.com webhook. On any paid plan you can bring your own A2P-verified Twilio number, or add a managed number from us for $5/month. Text messages are billed at $0.0083 each - for messages you send and replies you receive. Job texts are saved in the technician's chat, and their replies come back into it.
How do I set up email?
Avatar menu, then Email settings. This lets the app send email from your address, for example verification emails and estimates or invoices.
Can I message a technician back and forth?
Yes. Each job has a two-way chat thread so you and the technician can keep all the messages about that job in one place.
Estimates and invoices
Where are estimates and invoices?
Open the Tools menu in the navigation and choose Estimates or Invoices. You can create them, send them to customers, and keep track of them.
Inventory (Pro)
What is Inventory and who can use it?
Inventory is a Pro feature for tracking your parts and stock, with low-stock alerts so you know when to reorder. Find it under the Tools menu. It is available on the Pro plan.
Team members and permissions
How do I add a team member?
Avatar menu, then Team members. Add the person with a name, username, email, and password. They get their own login that shares your company data.
What are roles?
When you add or edit a member you can pick a role: Office Manager, Dispatcher, Technician, or Store Employee. Each role sets sensible permissions, and you can fine-tune exactly which tabs and actions a member can use.
How do I make a login that only sees one technician's jobs?
In the Team members screen, tick "This member is a technician" and choose which technician they are. When that person logs in, they only see the jobs assigned to them, not the whole board.
AI agent API and integrations (Pro)
What is the AI Agent / API?
A Pro feature that gives you your own API key so an AI agent or an automation tool can read and update your jobs. The agent can answer calls, book jobs, and close them for you.
Which tools can I connect?
Popular automation tools such as Make, Zapier, n8n, Pipedream and several more. The app includes step-by-step setup text for each one.
Where do I find my API key?
Avatar menu, then AI Agent / API. From there you can copy your key, test it, and turn the agent on or off.
Maps and address setup
Why does the app ask for a Google Maps API key?
The app uses Google Maps for the map, the address autocomplete, and the nearest-technician distance. Your own key keeps that running smoothly under your account.
How do I add my Google Maps key?
Avatar menu, then Map settings, and paste your key. In your Google Cloud account, restrict the key to your website and keep billing enabled, otherwise the maps and address search will not load.
The map is not loading. What is wrong?
Almost always it is the Google key: it may not be restricted to your site, billing may be off, or one of the needed services is not enabled (Maps JavaScript API, Places API, and Geocoding API). Fix those in Google Cloud and refresh.
Account security and mobile
How do I change my password?
Avatar menu, then Change password.
Is my data safe?
Your jobs, customers, and technicians are stored in your own account. Updating the app does not delete your data, your information stays put.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The app is built to work on a phone in the field as well as a laptop at the office, so your whole team can see the same board.
How do I delete my account?
Avatar menu, then Delete account. This removes your account and its data, so only do this if you are sure.
Troubleshooting
I cannot sign in.
Double-check your username and password, and use "Forgot password" if needed. Make sure the server address on the sign-in screen is correct, it is normally filled in for you.
I changed something but do not see it.
Refresh the page (a hard refresh). The newest version will load and your change will appear.
Texts or emails are not sending.
Re-check your SMS settings and Email settings in the avatar menu to make sure they are connected correctly.
